    Lean Innovation, Ecological Co-prosperity! BEWG’s 1st Suppliers Conference 2020-11-19

    On 18 November 2020, BEWG 1st Suppliers Conference took place in Beijing. More than 100 supplier representatives, financial institution representatives from home and abroad took part in this conference. BEWG President Mr. ZHOU Min, Senior Vice President Mr. YANG Guang, Senior Vice President Mr. YU Liguo and other group executives, group management team and relevant business directors attended the conference.
     
    Themed by “Lean Innovation, Ecological Co-prosperity”, this Conference aims to provide BEWG with new supply chain management model through this platform, helping lay a foundation for industry health development. The Conference interprets BEWG transition strategy and supply chain management new concept, and officially issues a digital supply chain service platform -- BEWG Smart Chain.
     
     
    Currently, biological environment problems are complicated, diversified, compounded from points to surfaces, coexisting with multiple sources, superimposed with multiple models, while the environmental industry is entering the quality increasing and efficiency improving stage on a whole, to pay more attention on environmental effects. Facing the upgrading industry demands and the changing competition pattern, BEWG will actively adjust strategies, build asset management platform, operation management platform, transform to a light asset enterprise, and backed on technological innovation strategy, ecological strategy and digital strategy, build the world’s first ranking public water asset operation service brand.

     Supply chain management is an important component of BEWG ecological strategy, which by means of ecological supply chain management will empower the industry with technological innovation, to promote in-depth optimization and integration of the environmental industry resources, providing strong supports to the high quality development of the Group and the industry.
       
    At the conference, BEWG Vice President Ms. WANG Zhupin, on the topic of “co-existence, co-prosperity and sharing”, shared BEWG supply chain new ecology building and new management concept. She pointed out that in the path to light asset transition and high quality development, BEWG is committed to, under the operating conditions of trillions of yuan, becoming the integrator of industrial resources, the supplier of materials and services, to continuously drive the industry iteration and upgrading. Ms. WANG expressed that BEWG sincerely wishes to work with world class excellent enterprises with the same genes, for joint growth, and become a new drive to lead the industry and develop for win-win in the ecological chain.
     
     
    In addition, Mr. ZENG Yuchang, vice president of China Smart Cloud Chain (Beijing) Financial Information Service Co., Ltd. (中企云链（北京）金融信息服务有限公司), and Mr. CHEN Wei, president of Jingdong Boer Research Institute (京东博迩研究院), respectively shared professional opinions on supply chain financial services and smart supply chain building, and pointed out that BEWG solves the collection and financing problems by accurately providing online supply chain financial services to the enterprises in the supply chain, help small and medium-sized suppliers to reduce financial pressure, and demonstrate the responsibilities of state-owned enterprises.

    BEWG selects 8 “BEWG Excellent Suppliers (Equipment & Materials Category) of 2020” after strict examination and screening at all directions in multiple levels, based on the actual application results of more than 1,000 own water plants, in terms of product quality, full life cycle use costs, and customer satisfaction among other dimensions. BEWG improves the brand value and industrial influence within the ecological chain, backed by its own golden reputation.     Focus on digitization, build Sam’s Club in water industry  

    This year is the start year of BEWG digitization. This conference released the digital supply chain service platform “BEWG Smart Chain” which is a vivid practice of BEWG digital strategy and biological strategy. "BEWG Smart Chain", guided by business demands, applies digital technology and innovative models to link high-quality resources in the entire industry, and builds 4 core capabilities (supply chain value-added, supply chain finance, data value and industry incubation) through "new genes, new systems, and new ecology". "BEWG Smart Chain" not only focuses on the platform itself, but also provides products, capital, management, operation, talents, technology, data, market, and channel empowerment for enterprises on the chain through the platform's ecological empowerment capabilities.     Currently, there are big changes in environmental industry policies, governance trades, and participating entities and governance philosophies, which have higher requirements for industrial systematicality and integrity of the industry. In the future, it will be more necessary for industry companies to build consensus and gather more environmental companies through ecological strategies, develop together to meet the complex ecological governance demands.
