BEWG’s 2019 Enterprise Technical Standards and Collaborative Work Guide Are Jointly Released 2020-01-14

Those who win the technology win the future. As one of the important links of the work conference of BEWG, the 2019 enterprise technical standards and collaborative work guide of BEWG were jointly released, and the top managers attended the launch event.

Zhang Baolin, technical director of BEWG, first released the technical standards for urban water and collaborative work guide for all lines.

In 2019, the Technology System of BEWG has made a top-level plan for technology standardization and the construction of a large-scale technology system based on in-depth understanding of the Group’s strategy, combined with the actual needs of the industry and the enterprise, which mainly includes: the technical realization path of the asset-light strategy of “one main line, two branches, three outputs, four cycles”, covering product standards, production line standards, and technical and economic standards. Based on this top-level plan, the technology center, together with various lines, compiled and published a series of technical standards and collaborative work guides, and the family of technical standards was initially formed. Finally, Zhang Baolin looked forward to the prospects of the technical standards for urban water and BIM technology, and the implementation of these standards will have a very important positive impact on the efficiency and results of the stages of investment, design, construction, and operation.

Mao Jianhua, director of water environment technology, released the technical standards for water environment and the collaborative work guide. Mao Jianhua said that no standardized actions for systematic governance have been formed so far due to the complexity of water environment projects, and the current standards are more focused on specific process and methods, lacking systematic work guidance, performance evaluation, etc.

First-class enterprises set standards. As an enterprise committed to leading the development of water environment governance, BEWG takes “factory, network, rivers and lakes” as the object, and strives to integrate the technical specifications of the whole life cycle from surveying, traceability, monitoring to system design, and top-level planning to properly determine the water quality goals for system modeling, parameter optimization, application enhancement; output of the planning, design and operation parameters of multi-discipline coupling to coordinate into a smart operation system to form a water environment standard system unique to BEWG.

Currently, a mutually coordinated technology and project organization and management mechanism standards have been formed for this set of standard system layout from “factory, network, rivers and lakes”, etc. Meanwhile, combined with the existing water environment business of BEWG, it is planned to participate in the compilation of 14 external national, industry, local, and group standards, and step into the stage of soliciting opinions, trial implementation and implementation. Internally, it has been supplemented, translated, centralized, and integrated from the perspective of the enterprise to strive to make the standards to be closer to the front line and application, and then solidify our accumulated experience, and finally form the three types of management, technology, and public welfare, and implement the 12 guidelines, methods, guides or standards.

Through the sorting of of the above standard system, a consistent, cohesive and orderly technical work will be gradually formed to improve the overall average level, achieve the goal of “standardization, empowerment, consensus, and making complex things simple”, and improve the efficiency of technological decision-making.

Li Ai, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and secretary of Committee for Discipline Inspection of the Group, made a statement on behalf of the investment, construction, procurement, and operation lines. He pointed out that technology standardization is an important work of the Group, and there are no bystanders and outsiders for this work. All lines must actively participate in the standardization work, constantly improve the standards, and promote practical application, so as to truly understand and use them.

Yang Guang, senior vice president of the Group, made a concluding speech. In 2019,  a series of hard-won technical standards were created by the technical system, forming the Group’s core competitiveness of technology. These standards complement and improve the national standards, industry standards, and Group standards, and are customized according to the actual needs of the Group. Last year we have solved the problem of “none”, this year we will focus on solving the problem of “ “good or not”, vigorously promote the application of standards, strengthen joint review, joint inspection, and joint test, and continuously improve and enhance the standards in the application process. The technical system is expected to continue to carry out technology standardization with high speed and high quality and a sense of mission and urgency of “just seizing every minute”, so as to make the technical standards truly become the golden name card of the Group.
