Top Management Communication between Suez Asia and BEWG 2017-06-13
On June 13,2017, Suez Asia CEO Steve Clark and Suez Asia Water Service CEO Francois Fevrier, and Suez Asia Senior Vice President and Derun CEO Sun Minghua, visited BEWG headquarter in Beijing, and had a communication with BEWG Executive Director and President Zhou Min, Executive Director and Executive President Li Li, and VP Zhao Kexi. Both parties introduced respective business lines, and had a deepening and fruitful discussion about potential cooperation.
During the discussion, Suez Asia CEO Steve Clark stated that he was pleased to lead top management and relevant managers to BEWG for deep discussion. Suez is the biggest company in the world in terms of environment protection, while BEWG is the biggest in China. He was expecting the active cooperation between both parties in respect of water service and solid waste treatment.
BEWG Executive President Li Li extended his welcome to Suez Asia delegation. He said, Suez Group is the example in the industry for BEWG to learn and follow. BEWG has the sincerity to cooperate with Suez in the Chinese market, and both parties are in need of cooperation in municipal water supply service, industrial water, hazardous waste and solid waste treatment. Both parties should be familiar with the business of other party, have a deep discussion, and make active plan to enable the cooperation to produce actual achievements.
During the presentation, Suez Asia Water Service CEO Francois Fevrier gave a full description of business scale, research and development, business layout, core business, typical projects, etc. Suez Asia Senior Vice President Sun Minghua described water service business line and basic profile of Derun Environment, as well as cooperative intent. Suez Water Engineering President Zhang Jun and Industrial Water President Ollivier Ramus introduced Suez water service engineering and design construction business, industrial waste water treatment business, smart water service management and solution respectively.
BEWG Executive President Li Li introduced BEWG business scale, position in the industry, business layout, etc, and briefly described 10 key development fields: municipal water service, water environment comprehensive treatment, environmental sanitation and solid waste treatment, industrial water service, rural water service, overseas business, seawater desalination business, technology service, financing service and clean energy. VP Zhao Kexi, CTO Zhang Baolin, chief operation officer Liu Weiyan and corresponding persons in charge of relevant business gave a description of solid waste business and typical projects, technology system and conventional water service business, enterprise intelligent operation, conventional water service operation management, and water environment business respectively.
In the stage of discussion, both parties had a serious talk about the cooperation prospect in respect of municipal water service, industrial water service, sponge city, intelligent water plant and technology research and development.
Finally, Suez Asia CEO Steve Clark expressed his satisfaction with the fruitful communication, and suggested establishing strategic cooperation relationship besides specific project cooperation, to carry out deepening cooperation in industrial waste water and smart water service. Suez Asia Water Service CEO Francois Fevrier suggested establishing cooperation teams in technologies and projects to implement the relevant cooperation. Suez Asia Senior VP Sun Minghua stated that the top level participants from both parties showed respective high-level attention and solid cooperative foundation, and that both parties should speed up specific exchanges.
BEWG Executive President Li Li agreed on the suggestions from Suez Asia top management, and stated that BEWG would pursue cooperation with Suez in terms of technologies and projects. BEWG would sort out the needs in six respects: technology research and development, water service operation, smart water service, environmental sanitation and solid waste, industrial waste water, cooperation with Deron Environment, and would actively exchange with Suez and propose cooperation plans as a foundation for future strategic cooperation.
