Beijing Vice Mayor Lu Yan Visited Daoxiang Lake Reclaimed Water Plant 2017-06-07
In the morning of June 7, 2017, Beijing Vice Mayor Lu Yan, Deputy Secretary-general of the Municipal Government Zhao Genwu, Party Secretary and Director Jin Shudong of Beijing Water Affairs Bureau, and Vice Director of Beijing Environmental Protection Bureau Li Xiaohua, visited Daoxiang Lake Reclaimed Water Plant of BEWG for the purpose of survey and research. Mr. Li Yongcheng, executive general manager of Beijing Enterprises Group Company Limited, and Chairman of BEWG, and Mr. Wang Zhupin, vice president of BEWG, escorted them for the visit.
The municipal leaders and his party specifically checked the underground treatment workshop and ground wetland park, and got themselves acquainted with the operation status, sewage treatment process and water discharge standard. Vice Mayor Lu Yan spoke highly of the reclaimed water treatment result. He pointed out, Daoxiang Lake Reclaimed Water Plant has saved lots of land space by adopting full underground treatment mode, and ensured the satisfactory charge and secondary use of reclaimed water through application of advanced sewage treatment technology, to solve the water pollution and treatment problems, and to play significant role in promoting surrounding environment quality. These are worth being generalized and implemented in wider fields.
With regard to excellent operation mode and outstanding achievements of Daoxiang Lake Reclaimed Water Plant, Vice Mayor Lu Yan suggested a further cooperation with government departments of energy saving to generalize the valuable experience in respect of energy saving, hoping BEWG to continue its development and application of artificial intelligence technology to initiate a more efficient and intelligent new management in the future development.
Other participants include vice direction of Beijing Water Affairs Bureau Pan Anjun, vice mayor of Haidian District Wu Jiliang, director of Haidian Water Affairs Bureau Li Jinsong, and township mayor of Shangzhuang Town of Haidian District Du Chensheng.
