BEWG attaches great importance to the issue of climate change, has formulated a comprehensive risk management system, regularly carries out the identification and assessment of risks and opportunities, and realizes green operations and promotes the development of a low-carbon enterprise within the Group's scope of business through measures such as water resource management and low-carbon actions.

BEWG regards the protection and improvement of the ecological environment as its own responsibility, carries out the ecological protection of the whole life cycle of the project, researches and develops products and technologies that help to promote the protection of biodiversity and actively carries out the protection of biodiversity and ecological restoration work, so as to contribute to the construction of an ecological civilization.

BEWG strictly abides by the laws and regulations related to business ethics, strengthens the construction of compliance management system, cultivates a culture of integrity, and realizes compliant governance and honesty in business. In 2023, the Group has not received any major corruption complaints and has not concluded any corruption lawsuits.

BEWG is committed to building a sustainable supply chain, strengthening the ESG management of suppliers throughout their life cycle, and ensuring the openness, fairness and justice of supplier management and procurement management. This year, we updated the Supplier Management System of BEWG to strengthen standardized management. BEWG continues to deepen the integrated cooperation mode of production, teaching and research, realize the transfer from a single closed innovation enterprise to the collaborative innovation of the whole industry chain, and jointly promote the technical research and development in the field of water affairs and the implementation of achievements. This year, we launched the research work of "New Water for the Future", and worked with partners to promote the industry to build and create together.
